Anderson University, South Carolina Graduate Sessions

Hey there! It’s Leah here. Hitting you guys with another blog post before the holidays arrive!

I just wrapped up my second to last semester of college at Anderson University, and boy has it been great (and busy!). I have had the joy of doing many graduate sessions for AU’s December graduating class, and let me tell you, capturing senior sessions for Anderson University grads is an absolute joy. The campus itself is a photographer's dream, especially during that magical golden hour. A sprawling front lawn bathed in the warm hues of the setting sun, creating the perfect canvas for stunning senior portraits, what more could I ask for?

One of my favorite spots is, of course, right in front of the iconic Anderson University archway. It's not just a picturesque backdrop; it's a symbolic tradition for these college seniors. That archway marks the transition from entering the college phase of life to gracefully exiting, symbolizing the end of their four-year-long journey at Anderson University. There's something truly special about freezing a moment of reflection in a soon-to-be graduate’s college years in a photograph.

As I navigate through campus with my camera, the beautiful white columns adorning the exteriors of many buildings never fail to catch my eye. They add a touch of timeless elegance to the photos, serving as a backdrop that's both classic and meaningful. Anderson University's architecture effortlessly complements the stories of these soon-to-be graduates, making every photo a lasting memory of their academic accomplishments and the memories they've made throughout their time here. It's more than just a photo session; it's a celebration of a significant chapter in their lives. I love senior sessions!

Because today is their graduation day, I’d love to congratulate Baylee, Jessie, and Savannah! You will all do such great things, I have no doubt!
