Greenville Rose Garden Elopement
Kendall and Jussely Davis’ wedding day was a perfect blend of intimacy, beauty, and heartfelt moments. Their elopement took place in the stunning rose garden on the campus of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, surrounded by less than twenty of their closest friends and family. The setting was idyllic, with vibrant blooms and lush greenery providing a romantic backdrop for their vows.
The ceremony was tender and personal, filled with joyful tears and heartfelt words. Every detail reflected the couple’s love story, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone present. The couple shared some of their story during the ceremony, I couldn’t help but feel overjoyed for them and their marriage.
After the ceremony, we spent time capturing bridal portraits in the rose garden, where the soft light and colorful blooms added an extra layer of magic to their photos. From there, we moved to the nearby lake on Furman’s campus, where the serene waters and picturesque surroundings created more stunning opportunities for portraits. As we all know, I love to play with light, and this golden hour session made for some amazing shots.
After our time on campus, Kendall and Jussely hopped into their getaway car—a classic 50s Mustang—and headed to downtown Greenville. The vintage car was a perfect complement to their timeless style and added a fun, nostalgic touch to their day. In downtown Greenville, we explored the city’s charming streets and captured more beautiful bridal portraits. The urban setting provided a striking contrast to the natural beauty of the rose garden, giving their gallery a diverse and dynamic feel.
The day concluded at Nose Dive, a beloved spot in downtown Greenville, where the couple celebrated with cake and dinner surrounded by their loved ones. The cozy atmosphere and delicious food made it the perfect ending to a day that was as unique and special as Kendall and Jussely’s love.
Kendall and Jussely’s elopement was a reminder that weddings don’t have to be grand to be meaningful. Their focus on love, connection, and the simple joys of being surrounded by those who matter most made their day truly unforgettable. It was an honor to capture these moments for them and to witness such a beautiful celebration of love.
Thanks for tuning in again! With much love,
Leah
